Project Details
Fierce Finance is a Web3 company bridging Centralized Finance (CeFi) and Decentralized Finance (DeFi), empowering users by unifying their entire financial landscape and offering innovative services like using crypto holdings as collateral for loans. The challenge was to develop a brand and product experience that stood out in a market crowded with disjointed financial apps.
We designed the brand to be a visual analogue of the product's competitive advantage: providing a singular view of a user's full financial picture. A suite of basic, modular shapes symbolize different aspects of the user's financial portfolios. An elegant design solution for an elegant user solution, emphasizing simplicity and cohesion.
We applied the same principles to product design, aiming to help users understand all necessary details in the simplest way while providing in-depth information when needed. Users can tap to delve deeper into specifics or tap out to see the macro view, mirroring the brand's approach to simplicity.
I led the branding effort and collaborated closely with the product team to ensure brand and product worked hand in hand. By integrating our creative efforts, we created a seamless user experience that simplifies financial management and empowers users. This approach gave Fierce Finance a strong foundation to compete with industry giants, positioning them as a compelling alternative in the DeFi space.
