Project Details
In 2017 the Middle East was looking up. Dubai had announced plans to colonise Mars by 2117, Saudi Arabia had named its first female astronaut, and the luxury houses were all mining space travel for their collections. Centrepoint, a mass fashion retailer, wanted in. So we flipped the premise: instead of bringing space down to fashion, we sent fashion up with a spacesuit collection designed from this season's Earthly trends.
The campaign asked one question: what will you wear when we go to space? The answer was a collection of spacesuits shown like couture. Life-size posters in full fashion poses, unveiled at a gallery night for influencers and press. Then we closed the loop: a microsite and catalogue paired every futuristic suit with the real Centrepoint pieces that inspired it, so anyone could "shop the look" and wear a bit of space today.
A retailer most people walked past became, for a moment, the brand dressing the future.
