Giving Skippy a skip.

Wine Australia is a government entity that is essentially responsible for all Australian Wine. They educate Australian wine makers on new technologies, statistics, trends, weather forecasts, climate change and for the most part any aspect that will affect the wine they make. Wine Australia also work with the Australian wine makers to bring their wine to the world. Their old identity was summarised by their logo which most referred to as Skippy. We worked with them to move from a 'corporate identity' to a brand.

Starting a conversation.

Strategic sessions with the client made it clear that Wine Australia's new purpose was to make Australia a worldwide thought-leader in fine wine. We re-imagined their brand to highlight the focus of what they are there for — Australian wine. We created a dynamic identity that revolves around a conversational logo which serves to highlight Wine Australia as approachable(to their wine makers) and an entity with an opinion on fine wine(as most thought-leaders are opinionated just ask The economist, Oprah and Steve Jobs).
